Xolo Era 2X gets price cut, now selling at Rs 6222
Lava's subsidiary Xolo has announced a price cut of up to Rs 722 on its latest launched budget 4G LTE-capable phone, the Xolo Era 2X. The smartphone 2X will now be available at Rs 6222 for 2GB and Rs 6777 for 3GB variant.

The smartphone was launched in January this year at a price tag of Rs 6666 and Rs 7499 for 2GB and 3GB RAM respectively. Available exclusively on Flipkart, Era 2X comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display and is powered by 1.25GHz 64-Bit Quad-Core Processor clubbed with 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. The dualSIM 4G LTE (VoLTE-ready) phone runs Android Marshmallow software out-of-the-box.

The company at its launch had said that the Xolo Era 2X is an entry-level phone yet, it focuses on value for money. The phone comes with an all-plastic body and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The company states that the sensor can register up to 5 IDs and can also facilitate multiple functions like unlocking the phone, launching the camera, unlocking gallery, capturing photos and answering calls.
The phone is backed by a 2,500mAh removable battery and claimed to offer up to 14 days stand by time on single charge. It sports an 8-megapixel camera on the rear with f/2.0 aperture, 5P Largon lens, blue glass filter and single LED flash. The rear camera is also capable of shooting time-lapse videos. On the front, it comes with a 5-megapixel camera. The smartphone is available in two colour options: black gunmetal and latte gold.
